Flinn co-led an AAP project to draft a document outlining a pediatric-focused vision and policy recommendations for the 45th President, in order to facilitate and guide Federal efforts to promote the health of children, their families, and their communities. The project involved interviewing pediatric thought leaders; drafting the document\u2019s overall policy framework; editing department- and agency-specific transition plans; and assisting with the production of the document, the corresponding website, and the launch event. She supports Nimitt\u2019s six-person team by providing a range of services, including project coordination, scheduling assistance, quality assurance, writing, editing, and meeting coordination. The Center is funded by the federal Office of Head Start (OHS) to support Head Start and Early Head Start programs. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ms. Flinn provides meeting management and logistical support for several Center meetings, including the 2021 and 2022 <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Health and Mental Health Leaders\u2019 Institute<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (HMHLI), and the 2022 <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I\u2019m Moving I\u2019m Learning<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> meeting. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In 2021, COVID-19 forced the HMHLI to transition from an in-person event with 300 attendees to a virtual event with more than 2,500 participants.
